  • Trace mineral injection for cattle and deer that contains copper, manganese, zinc and selenium. These minerals are vital for optimal production, fertility and health of cattle and deer.

  • Calves: Up to 1 year 1mL per 50kg
    Cattle: 1-2 years 1mL per 75kg
    Cattle: Over 2 years 1mL per 100kg
    Deer: 1mL per 100kg
    Cows: 3 – 4 weeks before calving, mating and drying off
    Calves: At day 1 and weaning
    Heifers: Every 3 months, especially 3 – 4 weeks before mating
    Additional: Every 2 months in wet conditions
    Deer: Not recommended more frequently than once every 4 months

  • By law the user must take due care, obtaining expert advice when necessary, to avoid unnecessary pain and distress when using the product other than as directed on the label.

    For use in cattle and deer by subcutaneous injection.

    READ ENTIRE CARTON BEFORE USE.
    Only treat animals in good health. Minimise stress to animals during handling for administration. Slight local reaction may occur for about 30 seconds after injection. A slight swelling may be observed at the injection site for a few days after administration. Use standard aseptic procedures during administration of injections. Doses greater than 7mL should be administered in separate sites.

  • Not to be used concurrently with any other form of copper supplementation, or administered at the same time as any other treatment e.g. drenching, vaccination. Do not administer to animals suffering from liver disease, fascioliasis or which have been grazing on plants which may cause liver disease. Do not use at the same time as any other selenised fertiliser, prill, or product without consulting a veterinarian. Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not administer to emaciated animals of body condition score less than 3/10.

  • No withholding period is required when used as directed.

  • WARNINGS

    Harmful if swallowed. Causes mild skin irritation and serious eye irritation. May cause an allergic skin reaction. May cause damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.

    HANDLING PRECAUTIONS

    Do not breathe mist. Wear protective gloves and eye/face protection. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this product. Wash hands and exposed skin thoroughly after handling. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace.

    FIRST AID

    IF SWALLOWED, rinse mouth. Call the National Poisons Centre 0800 POISON (0800 764 766) or doctor immediately if you feel unwell. IF IN EYES, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical advice. IF ON SKIN, wash with plenty of water. If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice. In the event of accidental self-injection, medical attention should be sought immediately. Take off contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse.

    ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

    Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. Hazardous to terrestrial vertebrates. Avoid release to the environment. Collect spillage.

    DISPOSAL

    Preferably dispose of product by use. Otherwise dispose of product and packaging at an approved landfill or other approved facility.

    STORAGE

    Store below 25°C in original box. Keep container well closed. Once opened must be used in 1 month.

When to treat?

  • AT BIRTH 
    Administer to calves (up to 12 months) at day 1 to enhance immunity to improve resistance to diseases such as scours and navel infections.

    PRE-WEANING 
    Administer to calves at (or within the 4 weeks) prior to weaning to help reduce the effects of conditions caused by stress, dietary changes and transport.

  • PRE-CALVING
    Inject heifers and adult cattle 3-4 weeks prior to calving to boost/support immunity to reduce susceptibility to infection and its effects.

    PRE-MATING
    Inject heifers and adult cattle 3-4 weeks prior to mating to improve calving % and reduce empty rates.

    ADDITIONAL DOSES
    Every 2 months in wet conditions.

  • CALVES
    Inject calves at marking or weaning to help boost/ support immunity to improve resistance to disease and to maximise productivity.

    PRE-MATING
    Inject heifers and adult cattle 4 weeks prior to mating to help improve calving spread and reduce empty rates.

  • Inject bulls 12 weeks prior to joining the herd to improve semen quantity and quality.

  • Inject stags at button drop, hinds 4 weeks prior to mating and fawns at or prior to weaning, to improve reproduction and productivity, and to enhance immunity.

TRACE MINERALS AND THEIR ROLE IN FARMING
